Who I Am

I am a database professional with 15 years of experience in the DBA space, especially around Oracle technologies from Oracle Database 10g through 26ai, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, performance tuning, patching, backup and recovery, and large-scale database operations.

My work has crossed healthcare, utility, banking, and product-based environments, including Oracle. That mix shaped how I think: database work is not only about commands and tools. It is about reliability, business impact, automation, communication, and making production systems safer to run.

DBApreneur is where I publish practical DBA knowledge, lessons from real operations, and ideas around the future of database administration, especially automation and AI.

What I Write About

Oracle DBA Technologies

Oracle Database, 26ai, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, ASM, patching, upgrades, architecture, space management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Database SRE and DevOps

Reliability engineering, incident response, automation, observability, runbooks, release readiness, capacity planning, and operational standards for database platforms.

Automation

Practical automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, DBCLI, cloud CLI workflows, and repeatable scripts that reduce manual DBA work.

AI and DBA Entrepreneurship

How AI can help DBAs work faster, automate safely, analyze incidents, explain SQL, build smarter tooling, and create new opportunities for DBA-focused products and services.

Where This Is Going

My goal is to build DBApreneur into a practical platform for database professionals: a place for Oracle, database reliability, automation, AI, scripts, architecture notes, troubleshooting guides, and real-world DBA learning.

Long term, I want to grow in the DBA entrepreneurship space, especially around automation and AI: tools that help DBAs reduce repetitive work, prevent incidents, understand systems faster, and make database operations more reliable.
